Adair Co. Schools campus gets LIVE Weather Station

The Adair County High School WeatherSTEM station went live last week. The system sends real-time, local weather info, keeps a record of all data collected, and provides STEM-based curriculum for students.

WeatherSTEM's real-time temperature and lightning reporting can help ensure the safety of student athletes on campus.

Jason Rector, DTC/CIO for Adair County Schools, says, "Many thanks to Craig Biggs and Rebecca Cravens making it happen for the district." According to Rector, incoming District Athletic Director Craig Biggs was familiar with the system when he was with WKU, and was a catalyst behind the recommendation of the system on the local school campus.

The web site for the new WeatherSTEM station is adair.weatherstem.com/achs.
