Donations being accepted in Casey County for Friday delivery

From Frances Salyers

Ridgetop Greenhouses, 803 Thomas Ridge Spur Road in Dunville, will be accepting donations to go to victims of the Eastern Kentucky flooding this week. All items and donations MUST be left by Friday evening at 4pm at the latest to be delivered on Saturday.

We will be taking items and following a church bus loaded with items that they have gathered up. The victims need help so please donate items they can use.



Frances Salyers and Justin Pounders will be delivering for Ridgetop. If we get more than one truck full we have more trucks and a box trailer and can take more.

Some items that would be of use and needed (but not limited to) include:

Water (Bottles or Gallons)

Cleaning supplies (any)

Wash cloths

Towels

Paper Towels

Toilet Paper

Baby wipes

Rubbing Alcohol

Antiseptic salves

Band-aids

Mosquito Repellant

Canned Food (Any)

Gloves (rubber or any kind)

Totes to keep & store things in

Diapers

Formula

Food for animals, (Dog/cat) etc

The Greenhouse seed room will be left open daily for drop offs.

Ridgetop Greenhouses open for items to go to flood victims

Ridgetop Greenhouses in Dunville will be open through 4pmET Friday to collect items for flood victims. They will be making the delivery to eastern KY on Saturday.
