ACSO: Monroe Co. man arrested on felony drug charges By Sheriff Josh Brockman Adair County Sheriff's Office On Saturday, July 16, 2022, Sheriff Josh Brockman received a call of a suspicious vehicle on Bull Run Road, 2 miles east of Columbia. Sheriff Brockman and Deputy Derek Padgett located the vehicle, a 2013 black Dodge Avenger, and initiated contact. The operator appeared under the influence during roadside investigation. A field sobriety test was conducted by Deputy Padgett, and as a result the driver was placed under arrest for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs. The driveer was also found to be operating on a suspended drivers license for 3 prior DUIs. Upon taking him into custody, a search revealed pills and suspected methamphetamine concealed in his belt line. Shawn Nuckols, 31, of Tompkinsville, KY, was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail on charges of:
