Next Commonwealth Coders class kicks off Aug 17

Numerous area Workforce Development Boards, including the Cumberlands Workforce Development Board in Russell Springs, are partnering once again to offer the Commonwealth Coders web development training program across many counties of Kentucky, including Adair, Casey, Cumberland, Green, Metcalfe, Russell and Taylor.

The program is 16 weeks all-online, with a live instructor and support staff available, and prepares participants to become Junior Web Developers. Students will be required to dedicate Monday - Friday 8:30amCT-3pmCT for classes.

Classes will begin August 17, and Orientation is tentatively scheduled for August 10, 2022. The deadline to apply is August 5, 2022, but there is paperwork required to secure funding for eligible students, so organizers recommend applying as soon as possible.
