ACSO: Russell Co. man arrested on felony drug charges

On Thursday, June 23, 2022, K-9 Deputy Chandler Staten initiated a traffic stop at 7:21 PM on an all-terrain vehicle operating recklessly at the intersection of KY 768 and KY 92.

Upon contact with the operator, Deputy Staten believed there to be controlled substances in the vehicle. Suspected methamphetamine was located during a roadside search.


Brandon Crawhorn, age 37, of Russell Springs, was arrested and lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail on charges of:
  • -Possession of controlled substance 1st degree methamphetamine
  • -Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • -License to be in possession
  • -Disregarding a stop sign
  • -All terrain vehicle violation
The Adair County Sheriff's Office is continuing the investigation.
