Battle of Tebbs Bend Tour will be July 3 On Sunday, July 3, 2022, at 6:30pmCT, Tebbs Bend Battlefield Association member Taylor Bishop will lead a free tour at Tebbs Bend to discuss the skirmish at the Green River Bridge during the Battle of Tebbs Bend on July 3, 1863. Learn how a small unit of 40 men from the 8th Michigan/79th New York Infantries held off an attack of close to 200 or so Confederate cavalry from the 8th Kentucky Cavalry and 10th Kentucky Partisan Rangers.
