ACSO: Adair man arrested for possession, outstanding warrants

On Sunday, June 19, 2022, at 11:32pm, K-9 Deputy Chandler Staten arrived on Feathersburg Road, 20 miles north east of Columbia, to a complaint called in.

Upon arrival, deputy Staten located a man asleep in a vehicle. When checking records, it was found that the man had indictment warrants for his arrest out of Taylor County. In addition, suspected methamphetamine was found on his person upon search.


Steven Fowler, 32, of Adair County, was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail on charges of:
  • -Outstanding warrant of arrest
  • -Possession of controlled substances 1st degree methamphetamine
The Adair County Sheriff's Office is continuing the investigation.
