Ann Wethington McFarland, 86, Campbellsville, KY (1935-2022) Ann Wethington McFarland of Campbellsville passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022. She was 86 years old. The funeral service will be held at 1pmET on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Deacon Joe Dant and Dr. James E. Jones. Burial will follow in Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is requested from 5pmET until 8pmET on Monday, June 20, 2022. Ann Wethington McFarland, daughter of the late Emanuel Wethington and Lorena May Gabehart Wethington, was born August 9, 1935 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Ann was co-owner and operator with her husband, J. W. McFarland, of McFarland Meat Processing and was formerly a Chairman of the Board of Directors at Taylor Regional Hospital. Ann had a positive attitude, was always smiling and laughing and full of life. She loved to travel with her husband and friends and had been to forty-nine states. She united in marriage to J. W. McFarland February 25, 1957 and he preceded her in death thirteen years to the day on June 16, 2009 and almost to the hour. Ann is survived by two sons and two daughters: Bryan McFarland and wife, Kim, Mark McFarland and wife, Betty and Patty Rodgers and husband, Doug of Campbellsville and Lynn Henley and husband, Roger of Bardstown; three grandchildren: Megan Hatcher (Daniel), Rachel Parker (Michael) and Jeremy McFarland (Shelby) ; five great-grandchildren: Max Hatcher, Griffin Hatcher, Will Hatcher, Beau Parker and Noa Kate Parker; three brothers and one sister: Bill Wethington of Campbellsville, George Wethington and John Wethington of Louisville and Emma Jo Mangold of Somerset; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Ann was also preceded in death by a brother, Thomas E. Wethington. Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences at parrottramsey.com.
