Nathan Giles, 85, Columbia, KY (1936-2022)

Nathan Giles of Columbia passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. He was 85 years old.

Nathan requested cremation, and there will be no public service.


Nathan was born on December 10, 1936 in Adair County, KY to the late Vence and Purney Giles. He was a longtime construction worker and member of Columbia Christian Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Ann Giles and two children, Joey Giles and Jill Giles.

Survivors Include:
  • Three Step Sons- Paul Bryant of Russell Springs, KY Doug Bryant of Columbia, KY and Jeffery Bryant of Liberty, KY
  • Three Step Daughters- Carol Spears(Danny) of Liberty, KY Patty Sullivan of Danville, IN and Valerie Taylor of Louisville, KY
  • One Aunt- Bernice Schnoerr of Florida
  • 12 Grandchildren and a host of Great Grandchildren and other relatives and friends
