Ralph Gerald Coomer, 95, Adair Co., KY native (1927-2022) Ralph Gerald Coomer of Campbellsville died on Friday, June 10, 2022 at his residence. He was 95 years old. Funeral services will be held at 11amCT on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY, with Bro. Donnie Blick officiating. Burial will follow in the Haven Hill Cemetery, with full Military Honors provided by VFW Post 6097. Visitation will be on Friday, June 17, 2022, from 3pmCT until 6pmCT, and on Saturday from 9amCT until 11amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. He was born on May 28, 1927 in Adair County, KY to the late Harlan and Anna Norris Coomer. He was preceded in death by his wife Wynell Moss Coomer. Mr. Coomer was a member of the Mt. Washington Baptist Church and a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U. S. Army. He enjoyed woodworking, horses and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include a son Rick Coomer (Toni) of Campbellsville, KY; three grandchildren Steven Coomer of Washington, Nicole Parnell (Charles) of Mississippi and Jennifer Rissinger of New York; six great grandchildren Scott Coomer, Ripp Coomer, Austin Parnell, Michael Parnell, Bethany Parnell and Ryan Ressinger; a brother Norwood Coomer (Marcella) of Mt Washington, KY; a half-brother Don Coomer; a half-sister Phyllis Coomer and several nieces a nephews.
