Leonard Wells, 84, Russell County, KY (1938-2022)

Leonard Wells, 84, of Jamestown, KY, passed away Tuesday, May 24th, at his home in Jamestown.

He was a retired Electrician and the husband of Loretta (Lawless) Wells, of Jamestown, KY. Leonard loved reading, traveling and has seen all the western movies. He attended Sewellton Church of God of Prophecy.



Leonard was born in Jamestown, KY on March 16, 1938, a son of the late Alpha (Murray) and Marlin Wells.

Leonard is also survived by a daughter, Patty Carter (Ted), of Fishers, IN;

a son, Terry Wells (Cathy), of Atlanta, IN; a brother, Jerry (Marilyn) Wells, of Jamestown, KY, grandson Shea (Shirenna) Wells, 3 great granddaughters, Raea, Daya, and Lilly.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Aaron Wells, sisters Juanita Chaney and Barbara Curtsinger.

Funeral Service will be held 2pmCT on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, KY with Bro. Michael Bunch and Bro. Jesse Jewell officiating. Friends may visit after 11 on Saturday. Interment at Jamestown Cemetery Jamestown, KY.
