Herman Dewey McCoy Jr, 73, Cumberland County, KY

Herman Dewey McCoy Jr, age 73 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Cumberland County Hospital. Dewey was born on September 8, 1948 in Barren County, Kentucky, to the late Herman D. McCoy Sr and Justina Flowers McCoy.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Parrish McCoy, two children Randall Lee McCoy and Jeffery Noel McCoy and a brother, Barry McCoy. He was a previous employee of Brown & Williams Tobacco Company in Louisville, Kentucky and Diamond Chain Company in Indianapolis, Indiana.



Survivors include Eight children - Richard McCoy, Rhonda McCoy, Bradley McCoy, Brandi Key, Dewey Lee McCoy, Kristen Jones, Barry McCoy and Tamra McCoy

Twenty-two grandchildren - Brandon Rose, Richard Paul McCoy, Bradley McCoy, Isaiah McCoy, Asia McCoy, Josh Key, Jessyca Key, Dewey Franklin McCoy, Peyton Allen McCoy, Devin McCoy, Raelyn McCoy, Taelyn McCoy, Eric White, Kimberly White, Madison Jones, Dillan Jones, Toshia McCoy, Zaylee McCoy, Kason Farlee, Kanen Farlee, Kourtney Kuhman and Ashley Kuhman

Eleven great grandchildren - Phillip Rose, Sarah Rose, Miles Lee McCoy, Kiana White, Marcus Jordan, Dontia Jordan, Matthew Rose, Piper Shae Talley, Kalani Ta'mara Barnett, Adonis Harding and Drake Smith

Funeral Service Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 1pmCT at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N Main Street, Burkesville, Kentucky with burial in Burkesville Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Friday, May 27, 2022 from 5-9.
