Anna Paulette Gilbert Campbell, 65, Russell County, KY Anna Paulette Gilbert Campbell, 65, of Jamestown, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at Russell County Hospital following a hard fought battle with cancer. Born on March 10, 1957, Paulette was the daughter of the late John Carl "Bunk" and Dimple Andrew Gilbert. She was a lifelong resident of Creelsboro and a member of the Creelsboro Church of the Nazarene. She was well known for her love of nature, Indian relics, and the many, many "critters" she befriended over the years. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, James Daryl "Gus" Campbell. She is also survived by two brothers, Donnie(Sharon K.) Gilbert and Michael(Sheila) Gilbert both of Jamestown, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Bunk and Dimple Gilbert, she was also preceded in death by her sister Betty Gilbert. Funeral Service will be held 2pmCT Friday, May 27th, at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, KY with Bro. Rod Lawless officiating. Burial will be in the Mann Cemetery on the family farm in Creelsboro. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or the charity of one's choice. Pallbearers: Gerald McGowan, Steven Bernard, Dawson Bradshaw, Cam Smith, Barry Bradshaw, and Byron Raines. This story was posted on 2022-05-27 23:07:27
