Severe weather possible Thursday afternoon/evening Mike Keltner, Director of Emergency Management, sends the following caution of possible severe weather later today from the National Weather Service in Louisville, KY: A cold front is forecast to move through the region today. Ahead of this front, scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop. Some of the storms could be strong to severe. The highest risk of severe weather will be in areas east of the I-65 corridor. Damaging winds, hail, and heavy rainfall will be the main threats. However, we can not rule out an isolated tornado or two with these storms. This story was posted on 2022-05-26 08:34:09
