EDA agenda for Tuesday, May 17, 2022 meeting

The Columbia-Adair County Economic Development Authority will hold a Board of Directors Meeting at 8amCT on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, in the Chamber of Commerce upstairs conference room at 201 Burkesville Street, Columbia, KY.

Meeting Agenda:


  • Presiding - Bobby Morrison, Chairman
  • Welcome, Call To Order, Determination of a Quorum, Pledge of Allegiance & Prayer

  • Business:
    • Approval of Minutes as presented - Kenzie Rowe, Secretary
    • Approval of Treasurer's Report as presented - Roger Meadows, Treasurer

  • New Business:
    1. Second Entrance bid review and approval

    2. Need add on service road to water tower &gas pumping station. We prices, etc in above bid. Just a grade and gravel road.

    3. Greg Greer got area to left of service cleared, looks good. He donated cleaning the mess on right side of road

    4. Do we need re-authorization for me to approve statements that engineers approve & send?

    5. Russell County Gas deed status

    6. Other business
      1. Executive Session per KRS 61.810(g). (g) Discussions between a public agency and a representative of a business entity and discussions concerning a specific proposal, if open discussions would jeopardize the siting, retention, expansion, or upgrading of the business. General Nature: To review and discuss a proposal from a potential client.
      2. Re-group after Executive Session

    7. Motion to adjourn
      Adjourn: Next regular meeting, Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 8amCT.
