Geraldine Cox, 82, Campbellsville, KY (1939-2022)

Geraldine Cox of Campbellsville passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022 in Louisville. She was 82 years old.

The funeral service will be held at 1pmET on Monday, May 16, 2022 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Rev. John Hall. Burial will follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

Visitation is requested from 11amET until 1pmET on Monday, May 16, 2022 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.


Geraldine Cox, daughter of the late Clarence "Jake" Gaddis and Gracie Ann Cox Gaddis, was born June 19, 1939, in Taylor County, Kentucky.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Stoner Creek United Methodist Church.

Geraldine was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville after 39 years of service.

She united in marriage to James Cox on July 11, 1987.

Geraldine loved her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and was a great cook.

Geraldine was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Corbin, on November 12, 2019, and a brother, Herald Gaddis.

Besides her husband, James Cox of Campbellsville, she is survived by two grandchildren: Trista Corbin Moss and husband, Ryan, of Bardstown, and Thomas "Blake" Corbin and wife, Jamie of Elk Horn; four great-grandchildren: Cora Moss, Aria Corbin, Lincoln Corbin and Lilly Moss; two brothers: A.D. Gaddis and wife, JoAnn, and Paul Gaddis and wife, Donna of Campbellsville; one sister-in-law, Ann Gaddis of Campbellsville, a son-in-law, Tommy Corbin of Campbellsville, a step-daughter, Lisa McFall of Campbellsville, two step-grandchildren, two step great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to Stoner Creek United Methodist Church and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
