Donna Kay McKinney, 72, Green County, KY (1949-2022) Donna Kay McKinney of Green County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Veachel Carter and Lettie Marr Carter of Green County, was born Monday, August 15, 1949 in Larue County and departed this life on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at the Taylor Regional Hospital. She was 72 years, 8 months, and 20 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of the Holly Grove Baptist Church and was a housewife. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Dawson T. McKinney of Green County, having united in marriage on January 23, 1982. Other survivors include, a daughter and son-in-law: Debbie and Bobby Bradshaw of Green County; two grandchildren: Kayla Landenberger and Chelsea Patrick both of Green County; four great grandchildren: Sydney Landenberger, Angie Landenberger, Peyton Patrick, Hunter Patrick, and one on the way Hayden Landenberger; one brother and one sister: C.W. Carter and Shirley Moss all of Summersville. She was preceded in death by her brother: Thomas Marcum. The funeral services for Donna Kay McKinney will be conducted at 1pmCT Saturday, May 7, 2022 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow at Wilson Cemetery. Bro. Dennis Penick officiating with Bro. Leslie Jewell assisting. Visitation after 7amCT Saturday until time of the funeral service. The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take form of donations to the Wilson Cemetery Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
