Update: Parkway closed in both directions By Officer Adam Cravens, PIO Columbia Police Department The westbound lane of The Cumberland Parkway is currently closed due to a multiple vehicle accident between Adair and Metcalfe counties. Units are currently on scene from multiple agencies. Plan to detour and use caution until the scene is clear. Update from Kentucky State Police Post 15: KSP is currently on the scene of a two vehicle injury collision on the Cumberland Parkway east bound at the 41mile marker The roadway is currently closed while Troopers are on scene conducting the investigation. The east bound lane will be closed for approximately 6-8 hours. The west bound lane will be closed for approximately 2 hours.
