William Joseph (Billy) Brennan, 74, Columbia, KY (1948-2022)

William Joseph "Billy" Brennan of Columbia passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. He was 74 years old.

A private funeral service will be held on Tuesday with burial in the Haven Hill Cemetery.


He was born in Milwaukee, WI on February 10, 1948 to the late John and Sylvia Dziedzis Brennan. He was also preceded in death by a brother Kevin Brennan.

Billy enjoyed restoring antique cars, NASCAR races and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife Frances "Frankie" Hansel Brennan of Columbia, KY; a daughter Tanya Hernandez of Milwaukee, WI; two grandchildren Alicia and Angelicia Hernandez; a step-son Gary Hansel of Berea, KY; two step grandchildren Austin and Brooklyn Hansel; a brother John Brennan, Jr. of Milwaukee, WI and a sister Sheri Sparaciro of Dallas, TX.
