Archery: 13 LWC Student-Athletes Earn Academic All-MSC

By Kyle Jackson

A total of 13 Lindsey Wilson Archery student-athletes picked up Academic All Mid-South Conference honors, conference officials announced on Wednesday.

Alexis Abbott, Courtney Blevens, Natalie Brockman, Hunter Current, Evan Mahanna, Britney McCarthy, Casie Metcalf, Hunter Reading, T Sanchez, Ashlyn Scriven, Casey Stickfort, Austin Taylor, and Gracie Wells each picked up the honor.

A total of 56 student-athlete archers from across the Mid-South Conference earned Academic All-Conference honors.

In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must be in their third term or fourth quarter.

All seven MSC schools had at least three recipients of this honors. Cumberlands (Ky.) led the MSC with 16 student-athletes listed, while the Blue Raiders placed 13 on the list, which was second-most. Pikeville (Ky.) was third with seven all-conference selections.

The Blue Raiders compete in the Outdoor Target Regional Championship and the Mid-South Conference Outdoor Target Championship this week.
