Flanagan, consultant to KBC, to speak at March 30 chapel By Gerard Flanagan, news writer/photographer/social media Office of University Communications Campbellsville, KY - Matt Flanagan, children and student ministry consultant for the Kentucky Baptist Convention (KBC), will speak at Campbellsville University's chapel at 10amET Wednesday, March 30, 2022 in Ransdell Chapel, 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville. In his role at KBC, in which he has served since 2018, Flanagan works with the Church Consulting and Revitalization Team. He is the son of Dan and Virginia Flanagan of Campbellsville. Mrs. Flanagan is special assistant to the president at Campbellsville University. Dan Flanagan is a former vice president at Campbellsville College. Both are 1965 graduates of Campbellsville College. Flanagan graduated from Campbellsville University in 2012 with a Master of Theology degree. Prior to joining KBC, Flanagan had been at Parkway Baptist Church in Bardstown since 2005. He also served as student minister at First Baptist Church of Jesup, Ga., and at Calvary Baptist Church in Danville, Ky. He began his vocational ministry while only a sophomore at Centre College at First Baptist Church in Junction City and was ordained at the church in January 1997. Flanagan and his wife, Felica, have two children: Caleb, a sophomore at Campbellsville University, and Eli, a senior at Bardstown High School. The chapel service will be televised live on WLCU (Comcast Cable channel 10 and digital channel 15) and streamed live at wlcutv.com and the Campbellsville University Facebook page.
