Possible severe weather this evening

From Mike Keltner, Director
Adair Co. Emergency Management

The forecast from the National Weather Service in Louisville continues to carry with it a threat for strong to severe storms later this afternoon and into the first half of tonight. Timing continues to suggest that between 5pmCT to around 11pmCT is the best window of opportunity for severe weather.

The main threats continue to be mainly damaging winds and some large hail. There is also a threat of an isolated tornado or two, mainly west of the I-65 corridor.
