Power outage update, Annex emergency shelter open

3/11/2022 -- As we get ready for bed, sleet is coming down hard and the temperature is edging below the freezing mark.

9:20PM Work continues - power to the majority of the county has been restored.

7:20PM EM1 Mike Keltner is Speaking directly with Taylor Co RECC on scene - Estimated time of repair TO BE DETERMINED - Will try an update at 8:30pm.

7:15PM The Adair County Courthouse Annex is opened as a warming center for persons without power or heat. No further provisions provided.

6:26PM Power outage in Adair County KU and Taylor RECC. New updates will be posted as received through the night.

Please do not contact Adair 911 for information or questions about your electric service.
