A large crowd attended the Adair County Fiscal Court meeting Monday night at the Jim Blair Park and Recreation Center building. The main discussions were on a playground for all ages including children with disabilities. This was tabled until next meeting to get further information on the project and materials.

Another lengthy discussion was on the subject of getting countywide gas service. It was decided to form a committee to gather information and recommendations after some information was given by CAUD Director Lenny Stone. Judge Cowan will appoint a committee to gather details and investigate possible funding for it.

Officials in attendance at the meeting from left are: Magistrates Chris Reeder, Sammy Baker, Darryl Flatt, Harold Burton, ACJE Gale Cowan, AC Clerk Bridget Compton, and Magistrates Billy Coffey, Greg Caldwell and Terry Hadley.
