Executive Order 2022-03 in honor of Kevin Jones

Adair County Judge Executive Gale B. Cowan is announcing by Executive Order 2022-03 that all flags located at Adair County Office Buildings be lowered to half-staff in honor of Kevin Jones, E-911 Dispatcher and Mapping Coordinator who passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, after a long illness.

Kevin was born with Cystic Fibrosis as a child, was a double organ transplant recipient at the age of 12 and was on the list to receive a kidney transplant at the time of his death. Kevin was a dedicated and faithful employee and loved being a servant to the people of Adair County. He was a true friend to all who knew him. Even while fighting his illness, Kevin was determined to get back to the job he loved and did so well.

It is hereby ordered, flags be lowered to half-staff beginning at 8:00 a.m. CST on Friday, March 11, 2022, and returned to full staff at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2022.
