Letter: ARPA funds for Ambulance Service

In the 24 years that we have lived here in Adair County, we have called on the Adair County Ambulance Service several times. Our experience with the service is that they have been responsive, professional and outstanding in every way. We are very fortunate to have such a kind and competent group of people serving such a critical function.

We hope that the American Rescue Plan, (ARPA) committee, meeting tomorrow, March 11, 2022, will include the Ambulance Service in the funds distributed to the first responders in Adair County, whether county or city.

We hope that those who have already used this fine service, and those who may need it in the future, will contact Judge Cowan and their magistrates, in support of ARPA funding for the Adair County Ambulance Service. Thank you, --Dick and Mary Knight
