New pizza restaurant has intentions to locate here

By Tiffany Collins, City of Columbia

In an announcement from the Office of Mayor Pamela Hoots, a new business is going to locate in our community.

Little Caeser's, a national pizza chain, will be locating in Columbia, according to one of the franchise owners.

The first Little Caeser's was located in Garden City, Michigan, which is outside of Detroit.

The first franchise was in Warren, Michigan. It became the fastest growing pizza chain in the United States.

The Little Caeser's Love Kitchen received the Presidential Volunteer Action Award from President George H.W. Bush and later received the award a second time from President Bill Clinton.

The company has stores in all 50 states and in 18 international markets.
