Softball: LWC releases 2022 schedule

The No. 23-ranked Lindsey Wilson softball team has released its 2022 schedule, head coach David Dews announced.

To open their 2022 campaign, the Blue Raiders hit the road for Lawrenceville, GA, to play in the GGC Invitational hosted by No.11 Georgia Gwinnett. LWC will face off against the Grizzlies and (RV) Reinhardt University (GA).


Lindsey Wilson remains on the road for the rest of February as they travel to face Union College (KY) and Bryan College (TN) in doubleheader action on February 14th and 19th respectively.

The Blue Raiders open conference play on March 2nd in their home opener with a doubleheader against No. 22-ranked Cumberlands (KY). Their first road conference game will be against Georgetown College (KY) on March 4th. Lindsey Wilson will also play host to No. 10 ranked Campbellsville (KY) and No. 11 Ranked Georgia Gwinnett on homestands this year.

The MSC Tournament begins with opening-round action set to be held on April 29th. The NAIA World Series opening round is scheduled for May 16-18 and the 2022 NAIA World Series is scheduled for May 26- June 1 in Columbus, Georgia.

Lindsey Wilson opens the 2022 season at 1:30 CT on February 11th against Reinhardt at the GGC Invitational in Lawrenceville, GA.
