Latest from NWS: 3-6 inches of wet snow possible Sunday
At 10:23amCT on Friday, January 14, 2022, the National Weather Service in Louisville, KY, updated their Winter Storm Watch.
From Sunday morning through late Sunday night, portions of east central and south central Kentucky, including Greensburg, Campbellsville, Liberty, Edmonton, Columbia, and Jamestown, may see heavy wet snow, possibly mixed with some sleet and freezing rain at times. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches are possible. A glaze of ice accumulation is also possible.
Travel could become difficult. Higher snowe totals could result in a few power outages due to the wet nature of the snow.
