Blood urgently needed, LWC draw is January 19th

Brooke Lee, the Red Cross Representative for the Lindsey Wilson College Blood Drive program, shares this call for help.

There is a National Blood Crisis! Please donate blood at Lindsey Wilson College on Wednesday, January 19th from 10am - 4pmCT at the Holloway Health and Wellness Center, 388-398 Williams Street, Columbia, KY. To make an appointment please go to redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-RED-CROSS.

The American Red Cross is facing a national blood crisis - its worst blood shortage in over a decade, posing a concerning risk to patient care. Doctors have been forced to make difficult decisions about who receives transfusions and who will need to wait until more products become available. Blood and platelet donations are critically needed to help prevent further delays in vital medical treatments.
