Parrott finishes 37th in Patriot All-America From Campbellsville University Litchfield Park, AZ - Gracie Parrott, a CU Junior from Greesnburg, finished 37th in the prestigious 2021 Patriot All-America Invitational. 2021 was the first year the event has included a women's field. The 54-hole amateur stroke-play Championship was held December 27-31, 2021, at The Wigwam Resort. The annual Patriot All-America Invitational frequently features the top fields in amateur golf. Major champions Justin Thomas, Brooks Koepka, Bryson DeChambeau, and Collin Morikawa are all past participants in the event. In the ten years since its inception, alumni from the invitational have collected more than 50 victories on the PGA Tour and European Tour. Every player was presented a golf bag at the event's opening ceremony to utilize throughout the competition. Parrott was gifted a bag featuring Specialist Russell E. Madden of the U.S. Army. At the conclusion of the event, the golf bags will be auctioned off by the respective athletic departments of participating student-athletes. All proceeds will go to the Folds of Honor foundation, which provides post-secondary educational scholarships for children and spouses of military service men and women killed or disabled while serving the United States. Parrott is the daughter of Walt and Deana Coffey-Parrott, and granddaughter of Adair County 5th district Magistrate Billy Dean Coffey. This story was posted on 2022-01-03 18:28:14
