New Year begins with storms, Annex shelter open The New Year 2022 starts off with a bang - thunder storms are rolling through Adair County in the first hour. We are under both a flood watch and a tornado watch until daylight. Adair County Emergency Management Director Mike Keltner sends word that the Adair County Courthouse Annex basement will be available for temporary storm sheltering tonight and during the potential storms during the daylight hours.
