Travel: Columbians spend Christmas in Utah

By George Kolbenschlag

Here are a couple of photos from our Christmas Trip to Snowbird Ski Resort with our three sons and their families and friends.

Our son, George, is assistant manager of the ski school at Snowbird and we have been gathering there for Christmas for the past 20+ years.

The sunset photo is taken from the condo at Snowbird back towards Salt Lake City.

The valley where the city and Salt Lake are can be seen as the little white area where the two mountains converge.

The second photo (the ski area) is of the lower portion of the skiing area. The "hills" in the fore ground where you can see the skiers hide a much higher 11,000 foot peak accessed by an aerial tram.

We obviously had a white Christmas!
