Jerry Donald Cox, 62, Edmonton, KY (1959-2021)

Jerry Donald Cox of Edmonton passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington. He was 62 years old.

Graveside services for Jerry Donald Cox will be conducted at 1pmCT on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at the Little Barren Cemetery in Green County, with Bro. Donnie Abney officiating.


Jerry Donald Cox, son of the late Robert Joe "Bobby" Cox, Sr. and Lois Bernadine Jeffries Cox, was born on Wednesday, July 22, 1959 in Glasgow, Kentucky.

Survived by his wife: Betty Marie Estes Cox of Edmonton; a daughter and son-in-law: Latrina and Bryan Lobb of Greensburg; three sons and a daughter-in-law: Jeremy Cox of Greensburg, Justin Cox of Barren County, and Steven and Jasmine Cox of Bowling Green; three brothers and a sister-in-law: Jackie and Darlene Cox, Lacey Cox all of Edmonton, and Bobby Joes Cox, Jr. of Hardyville; four grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Cox was also preceded in death by a daughter: Forresta Gale Cox on July 13, 2013; a sister: Shirley Rigdon; and a sister-in-law: Connie Cox.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the family burial expenses, which can be made at the funeral home.
