James Ralph Tyler, 85, Campbellsville, KY (1935-2021)

James Ralph Tyler of Campbellsville passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021. He was 85 years old.

Cremation was chosen by the family, and no public services are planned.


James Ralph Tyler, son of the late Ralph Stephen Tyler, Jr. and Flossie Opal May Pence Tyler, was born December 29, 1935 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

He was a retired computer operator with Blue Cross Blue Shield.

James united in marriage to Jane Ann Trumbla February 21, 1958.

Besides his wife, Jane Ann Trumbla Tyler of Campbellsville, he is survived by two daughters: Minde Malcomson and husband, Joe of Elizabethtown and Delma "Dede" Buntain and husband, Christian of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Christopher Vaylen, Krista Malcomson, Caleb Ward and Serena Ward; three great-grandchildren: Braydin Malcomson, Vivyan Shofner-Malcomson and Sylvia Evans-Malcomson; one sister, Shirley Marie Pilkington of Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
