An and one by Lucy Patterson gave Lindsey Wilson a 25-23 lead with 6:13 remaining in the half. However, Indiana Wesleyan quickly regained the lead outscoring the Blue Raiders 15-2 to take a 38-27 advantage heading into halftime. The Wildcats pushed their lead to 16 before back-to-back three pointers by Sydnie Hall and Amerah Steele trimmed the deficit 45-35 with 6:56 remaining in the third quarter. However, the Wildcats became hot from beyond the arc knocking down five of their six three-pointers to hold a 62-51 lead entering the final quarter of play.
