Janet Lee Emerson, 76, Casey County, KY (1945-2021)

Janet Lee Emerson, of Liberty, Kentucky, returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at Stanford Care and Rehab. She was 76.

Born on February 10, 1945, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Anna Watson Morgan. Janet retired from United Medical Resources in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a member of the Eastern Star. She attended Grace Baptist Church in Loveland, Ohio.

She is survived by two children, Patricia Hughes Campbell and John (Christy) Hughes; grandchildren, Jennifer, LeighAnn, Abby, and Jacob; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Duane (Barb) Morgan, David (Shirley) Morgan, June (Carl) Coffey, and Teri Hines; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by siblings, Faye Wilson, Edward Morgan, Hugh Morgan, Bill Morgan, Ilah Ball, and Linda Harris.

The funeral service will be held at 2pmET on Monday, November 29, 2021, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11-2 on Monday, November 29, 2021, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
