Fire Reports: Total losses on Parrot Avenue and Russell Road By Donald Hare The Columbia City Fire Department responded to a residential house fire Sunday morning, November 14, 2021, at 12:33amCT, at 325 Parrot Avenue. Upon firefighters' arrival, the house was completely engulfed in fire and was a total loss. There were 10 firemen on the scene for 2 hours. The Adair County Fire Department responded to a residential house fire on Tuesday morning, November 16, 2021, at 8:40amCT, to 1005 Russell Road, to property owned by Don Yates. Upon arrival, firefighters found a single story residence completely engulfed in fire and the home was a complete loss.
