Libby Maddox Patton, 82, Taylor County, KY (1939-2021)

Elizabeth "Libby" Ann Maddox Allen Patton was born July 31, 1939, in Taylor County, Kentucky to the late Wesley Maddox Sr. and Minnie Vaughn Maddox. She departed this life Saturday, November 6, 2021, at the Taylor Regional Hospital, having attained the age of 82 years, 3 months, and 6 days.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Run Baptist Church. She worked as a Bus Driver for the Campbellsville Independent School District and was a Police Dispatcher for the Campbellsville Police Department.



Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Clifford Patton; four brothers: Johnny Oscar Maddox, Wesley Maddox, Jr., Terry Lyman Maddox, and James Woodray Maddox; one sister: Perry Lois Maddox.

She is survived by two sons: Clifford M. Patton of Waynesburg, Kentucky and Clifford T. Patton of Stanford, Kentucky; two daughters: Gloria Ann Wesley of Elizabethtown, Kentucky and Kim Patton of Columbia, South Carolina; two sisters: Gloria Sebastian and Gladys Maddox both of Campbellsville; 11 Grandchildren: Temiko Wesley, Sonja Wesley, Pamela Patton, Havin Oliver, Clifton Helm, Dominique Cleveland, Clifford Helm, Akilah Garvin, Kayla Helm, Chelsa Helm, and Brittany Helm; 12 grandchildren; plus, a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 1pmET Saturday, November 13, 2021, at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg with Rev. James T. Washington, Master of Ceremony and Rev. George L. Nelson, Eulogy. Burial to follow in the Pleasant Run Cemetery.

Visitation is requested from 11amET Saturday until the time of the service.

Pallbearers: James Wesley Maddox, Tracy Maddox, James Price, Jeremy Price, Travis Price, Maddox Hawkins, Vaughn Hudson, Eric Sebastian

Honorary Pallbearers: Clem Haskins, Bob Smith, DeRon Smith, Jerome Winfrey, Jeff Hardin, Fred Wagoner, Byron Johnson, Josh Nelson, Merion Haskins.

Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
