Dorothy Mae Edrington, 93, Taylor County, KY (1928-2021)

Dorothy Mae Edrington, 93, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Sam Nelson and Ida Stearman Nelson was born February 18th, 1928, in Taylor County and departed this life on Wednesday, November 3rd, 2021, at Grandview Nursing Home.

She was married to Joe Edrington in 1967 and he preceded her in death on April 4th, 2001.

She professed her faith in Christ and was of Presbyterian faith. She retired from Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville after 30 years.



Survived by:

Two sons: Richard Simpson and his wife, Sandy, of Campbellsville; Danny Simpson and his wife, Norma, of Campbellsville.

Five grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.

Several nieces and nephews along with other family members and friends.

Besides her parents and husband, Mrs. Edrington is preceded in death by:

Two sisters: Bertha Veatch and Ermine Harris.

One brother: Shelby Nelson

Visitation is Thursday, November 11, 2021, from 11am to 2pm EST at Auberry Funeral Home with funeral Thursday at 2pm.

Burial to follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Memorial Gardens.

Auberry Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
