Quilt fundraiser to help Britt Jeffries' family

The members of the Metcalfe County group, Piecemakers Quilt Guild, made a log cabin quilt that will be raffled off to raise funds for the family of Britt Jeffries. Tickets are $1 each and can be purchased from quilt guild members as well as members of the Center United Methodist Church. The quilt drawing will be held on Thanksgiving Day. The quilt is 84"by 96". It's got a creamy background with black and burgundy accents.

The quilt will be shipped to the winner if they don't live in the area. This quilt was a made by over 30 members of Piecemakers Quilt Guild. The quilt top was put together by Charlotte Atkins and quilted by Becky London.

All proceeds will benefit the family of Britt Jeffries. For more information, call Candy Shirley @270-670-3650.
