Raymond Wood, 68, Campbellsville, KY (1952-2021) Raymond Wood of Campbellsville passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021 in Lebanon. He was 68 years old. The funeral service will be held at 11amET on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Dr. Brian Rafferty. Burial will follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is requested from 9amET until 11amET on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Raymond Wood, son of the late David Guy Wood and Ethel Dile Wood, was born December 24, 1952 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Elk Horn Baptist Church. Raymond was a very talented hairdresser and instructor for many years. He was a very loving "Poppy" and "Daddy" to his children and grandchildren. He united in marriage to Janet Giles June 5, 1981 and she preceded him in death December 21, 2020. He is survived by two daughters: Natalie Wood and Amber Wood; three grandchildren: Kolton Railley, Konnar Railley and Karley Railley; four sisters and four brothers: Norma Wright and husband, Kelly, Helen Rainwater, Melva Wood, Sue Hunt and husband, Jim, George Wood and wife, Sharon, Joe Wood and wife, Vickie, Guy Wood and wife, Rebecca, Bobby Wood and wife, Rebecca all of Campbellsville; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, David Wood. Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to Gideon Bibles or Elkhorn Baptist Church Children's Ministry and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
