Loris Janel Hamilton, 86, Green Co., KY (1935-2021) Loris Janel Pruitt Hamilton of Green County passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021 at the Jane Todd Hospital. She was 86 years old. The funeral services for Mrs. Loris Janel Pruitt Hamilton will be conducted at 11amCT on Friday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY, with Brother Rob Morris will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Neagle Cemetery. Public Visitation is requested from 5pmCT until 8pmCT on Thursday, September 30, 2021. Loris Janel Pruitt Hamilton, daughter of the late Mr. James Robert Gowen and Mrs. Matha Florence Carter Gowen, was born September 19, 1935 in Green County. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. She was a retired L.P.N. and worked for the Baptist East Hospital for 23 years. She is survived by her son: Rev. Michael Steven Pruitt of Richmond; 4 grandchildren: Jessica & Shannon Pruitt of Richmond, Jennifer Lynn Pruitt of Richmond, Melissa & Steve Rousey of Liberty, and Chester & Julie Humphrey of Nashville; four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
