Kyle Lee Harper, 37, Metcalfe County, KY (1983-2021)

Kyle Lee Harper, 37, of Edmonton passed away Monday, September 27, 2021 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.

He was a 2002 graduate of Metcalfe County High School, employee of Akebono in Glasgow and a member of the Grace Union Baptist Church.

He loved cooking out and was known for his cooking talent. He loved to fish, hunt and being outdoors.



He was born November 20, 1983 to Michael Lee and Becky Blankenship Harper of Edmonton who survive.

Kyle is survived by his wife of almost fifteen years, Angela Sexton Harper.

Two children, Kelleigh Pugh and Tanner Harper.

Two stepchildren, Chyanna and Alyson Gorbett. Two sisters. Brookie and husband Brad Dial. Kaitlyn and husband Jordon Harris.

His grandmother Margaret Blankenship and a nephew Braden Dial.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, JB Blankenship, Herbert Lee and Yvonne Harper.

Funeral services for Kyle Harper will be held 1pmCT Thursday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Society Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-8 Wednesday and after 9 Thursday.

Butler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
