Youth Agricultural Incentives Program (YAIP) By Teresa H. Bright Adair County Cooperative Extension Service The Kentucky Agricultural Development Board recently approved $30,000 in Ag Development Funds for an Adair County Youth Agricultural Incentives Program. This program was developed to facilitate a growing need for a specialized program that would encourage youth to engage in and explore agricultural opportunities. This is a cost-share program, and youth must be enrolled in elementary, middle or high school, or home school and be at least 9 years of age on January 1, 2021. Applications for the Youth Ag Incentives program will be available August 10 - August 31, 2021 at the Adair County Extension Office.
