Remembering Owen Lee Pollard

Larry Joe Smith writes:
Owen and I became good friends pretty quick after we put the Swap Shop on the air at 92.7 The Wave, he was a regular caller and you'd never know what kind of curve ball that he would throw at you on the air.

I also remember He would get the biggest kick out of the late "Cherokee" who would call the show, shoot his guns on the air and tell us that he took his dog in the Adair County Courtroom before Judge Michael Loy. Right after that Owen called in and... and right after that I think I got called into the office... lol.

Now Owen will join Max Rowe and Cherokee on the heavenly Swap Shop where you'll never find a bad deal. Rest in peace my ole friend Owen Lee Pollard. - Larry
