Douglas Ray Burton of Linden, Indiana, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021 at his home. He was 63 years old.

The funeral service will be held at 10amCT on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. David Weathers officiating. Burial will follow in Bearwallow Cemetery.

Visitation is requested from 4pmCT until 8pmCT on Friday.

He was born December 24, 1957, in Campbellsville, Kentucky, to the late Coy and Annie Sneed Burton and he retired from Purdue University Maintenance after 35 years.

Survivors include:
  • His wife - Shirley Logsdon Burton of Linden, Indiana
  • One son - Michael Ray Burton of Linden, Indiana
  • One step-son - Howard Leroy Logsdon of Veedersburg, Indiana
  • One daughter - Crystal Burton of Crawfordsville, Indiana
  • Two brothers - Dale Burton of East Peoria, Illinois and Glen Burton of Lafayette, Indiana
  • Four grandchildren - McKinley Isaiah Burton, Thomas Filo Burton, Alexis Rosella Logsdon and Thomas Logsdon
  • Several other relatives and friends
