Flags placed on veterans graves on Saturday By Joe Hare, PIO VFW Post 6097 On Saturday morning, 29 May, 2021, members of VFW Post 6097 Columbia, the Columbia Masonic Lodge, and some others placed American Flags on the graves of appox 500 veterans in Haven Hill Cemetery and Columbia City Cemetery. Should we have missed the grave of your loved one, please forgive us, I assure you it was accidental or if they have a foot marker only we are not allowed to put them there due to being in the way of the mowers.
