Carolyn M. Polston, 69, Jamestown, KY (1952-2021)

Carolyn M. Polston of Jamestown passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at Russell County Hospital. She was 69 years old.

A religious service will be held at 11amCT on Friday, May 21, 2021, at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main St., Jamestown, KY, with Bro. Leon Simpson officiating. Burial will follow in Jamestown Cemetery, Jamestown, KY.

Friends may visit on Thursday from 5pmCT until 8pmCT at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel.

The funeral home asks that everyone attending please wear a face covering and follow Covid rules.


Carolyn was born in Jamestown, KY on January 13, 1952, a daughter of the late Ollie (Lawless) and Raymond Hudson.

Carolyn is survived by:
  • A son, Eric Polston, of Jamestown, KY;
  • A sister, Cleta Simpson, of Jamestown, KY;
  • Two brothers, Ronnie Hudson, of Russell Springs, KY; Lannie Hudson, of Jamestown, KY.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Morris Polston, son Alex Polston, sister Cola Fay Burton and 3 brothers Leonard, Lilburn, and Billy Joe Hudson.
