EDA Board to meet on Tue 18 May 2021

The Columbia-Adair County Economic Development Authority will hold a Board of Directors Meeting at 8amCT on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, in the Chamber of Commerce basement meeting area at 201 Burkesville Street, Columbia, KY.

Meeting Agenda:


  • Presiding - Bobby Morrison, Chairman
  • Welcome, Call To Order, Determination of a Quorum, Pledge of Allegiance & Prayer

  • Business:
    • Approval of Minutes as presented - Kenzie Rowe, Secretary
    • Approval of Treasurer's Report as presented - Roger Meadows, Treasurer

  • New Business:
    • 1. Alisha Curry called on taxes for Bed and Breakfast/motels/etc. Is getting runaround on where to pay, referred to EDA. Seems Tourist group should get? She said lots of income.
    • 2. Approval to get metal & fencing wire removed from land we are getting, survey, status, etc.
    • 3. Approval for Ground Solutions, Clint Garrison to chop up all brush and trees to 8 inches.
    • 4. Update on cutting trees, not much good timber.
    • 5. iGo ReGo, really impressive setup and brilliant idea. 4 locations, 400 vehicles
    • 6. Synergy Food Group and City Grant/decision update.
    • 7. Todd Metals (Billy Todd) & Henry Sandusky on clearing old fencerow on joining property.
    • 8. Project Groot update, MSE furnishing info, etc.
    • 9. Visit update of interested group and info from Glen Ross
    • 10. Sinkhole repair options
    • 11. Discussion on lease land need for adjustment or rebate
    • 12. Update on response on overdue last year land lease.
